As part of country general practice I have developed skills in many areas including surgical procedures under local anaesthetic. Having developed a particular interest in circumcisions, I am now providing this service for Adelaide clientele. My
name is Paul Cowie and I have been working mainly in Whyalla as a country
GP for nearly 30 years. I completed by Medical Degree through Adelaide
University in 1976, then worked at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Modbury
Hospital and Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Soon after I
completed my GP Obstetrics Degree at Auckland National Women’s Hospital,
New Zealand before commencing practice at Whyalla.
